Justin Levido has practised law in Port Macquarie since 1987 and in October 2018 established Levido Law + Property. An opportunity has arisen to expand the Firm.

About Port Macquarie Port Macquarie is situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW some 4.5 hours drive north of Sydney, 2.5 hours drive north of Newcastle and 5 hours drive south of the Gold Coast. About the position An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer to join the team to enhance the Firm's current areas of practice with the potential to include new areas such as Employment Law, Superannuation and Trusts.The position is for a Lawyer with minimum 2 years post qualification experience and provides an excellent and realistic opportunity for the longer term.

• About your responsibilities You would;
• manage your own practice from the taking / receiving of instructions to billing, finalising and reporting to the client / stakeholder;
• provide assistance to the Firm principal as required;
• work as an integral component of the Firm team;
• be able to provide input and ideas as to the Firm, its practise and direction;
• be able to undertake and coordinate continuing legal education requirements;
• be open to being mentored by the Firm principal; and
• take responsibility for your matters, clients and advice given / work undertaken.
• About your essential skills and experience You would;
• be an energetic, hardworking and committed Lawyer with minimum 3 years post qualification experience of demonstrable expertise as a Lawyer dealing with clients directly, and predominantly, on a face to face basis;
• be client focused, a good listener and able to provide / develop practical results based solutions to issues;
• be able to work in a small team environment on an active basis and be able to get along with people;
• have an eye for detail and accuracy;
• be open to mentoring and direction from the Firm principal;
• be keen to grow your practice and reputation;
• be open to becoming involved in community based activities;
• be able to take instructions, manage your files and work with the Firm's paralegal and support staff;
• be respectful of people;
• be able to work under pressure and to a deadline;
• be able to deal with many and varied people directly;
• be confident in working independently however demonstrate a collegiate attitude and be keen to work and share knowledge with your peers; and
• be conversant with or have exposure to Microsoft Word, LEAP matter & accounting systems, dictation software and have an ability to type.
