About the role

This is a permanent opportunity, starting with a three-year customised graduate development program. You will work alongside seasoned professionals and rotate across our corporate offices, bauxite mines and alumina refineries based in the Peel and Upper Southwest regions. What you’ll be doing

As a Finance Graduate at Alcoa, you to learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in :

Corporate Finance – including financial accounting, statutory requirements and financial planning & analysis

Financial Shared Services – critical month end costing processes for raw materials & inventory, asset inventory and other key controllership requirements

Internal Audit – key controllership and involvement in internal audits of operations

Location accounting – including business partnering and management accounting

Tax & Treasury support

Development and mentoring

Throughout the program, you will be provided with :

About you

If you are on the path to graduate by the end of 2025 or have recently completed tertiary qualifications in Commerce; Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, we want to hear from you!

About the Location

Alcoa Australia is currently located in Booragoon, WA, but will be relocating to the western end of St Georges Terrace in Perth CBD in Q3 2025. The Booragoon office is situated on Whadjuk Noongar land, 16 kilometres away from Perth's CBD. The office is situated next to Garden City and hosts employees from across several business units, including Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, Communications, Human Resources and the Global Refinery of the Future team.
