Are you a Psychiatrist ready for your next challenge? Look no further! Provide Psychiatric services to a multicultural population as part of a multidisciplinary mental health service at Villawood, NSW.

The Role

The Psychiatrist will be delivering Psychiatric services at the Immigration Detention Centre clinic. Key responsibilities :

Provide Consultant Psychiatrist level mental health assessment and management

Working with a multidisciplinary team in IHMS sites to provide holistic mental health care

Work with the Medical Officers to provide supervision, training and oversight of staff working with mental health patients

Provide recommendations regarding mental health care

Make recommendations and provide reports

Requirements

Specialist Psychiatrist qualification in country-of-origin equivalent to Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)

Current AHPRA Registration

Minimum 2 years proven experience as a psychiatrist

Preferably forensic experience

Full working rights in Australia
