KEY DUTIES
• Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
• Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility
• Assist with medication and agreed care routines
• Support community access, appointments and participation
• Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES
• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team
SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY
Regular day shifts and ongoing roster patterns may be available. Include the days, hours and travel radius you can commit to each week.
INDICATIVE MARKET PAY
$40-$45 per hour + super Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtimeent.
