The Company
A leading organisation in the healthcare sector, looking for a budget accountant to join the team. In this role, you'll help drive financial sustainability and performance across a complex, multi-site organization that's committed to caring for its patients, people, community, and the environment.
The Role
As a Budget Accountant within the Group Planning team, you will play a key role in delivering a robust budget framework to support financial strategy across the health network. Working closely with senior finance leaders, divisional stakeholders, and peers, you will :
- Support annual budget development processes, including data entry, analysis, and review
- Help establish budget frameworks, guidelines, and timetables that reflect the scale and complexity of the organisation
- Identify discrepancies, analyse trends, and deliver actionable financial insights
- Contribute to business case reviews for high-level decision-making
- Collaborate across finance teams to ensure consistent, transparent reporting
- Partner closely with the business partners in the organisation to support stakeholders and cost centre managers
Your Profile
You are analytical and strategic, with a genuine interest in contributing to the health sector. You're comfortable working with data at both macro and micro levels and thrive in complex organisational environments.
