Job Specification :
We are on the lookout for a motivated and career-driven Dispense Technician to join a growing and modern pharmacy operation. You'll be working alongside an experienced Pharmacist in Charge, a Compounding Pharmacist, and a well-supported team of dispensary and front-of-shop staff.
Key responsibilities include :
- Dispensing prescriptions
- Making changes to Dose Administration Aids (DAAs)
- Sorting and managing prescriptions
- Handling general dispensary administration and script in work
- Prior experience as a Dispense Technician in Australian community pharmacy.
- Certificate in Pharmacy (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or Hospital / Health Services Pharmacy Support) or relevant pharmacy training.
- Proficiency with Z dispense (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
- Starting rate of $35 per hour
- 38 hours per week , with flexibility to work over 3 or 5 days depending on your preference
- Consistent technician support (minimum two on shift)
