We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team in Glen Waverley on a Part Time basis 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) from 9 : 30am – 3 : 00pm.

What does your new role look like?

Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful activities and assist in their delivery

Ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction at all times

Communicating effectively with residents, families and volunteers

Assisting with care plans and programs

Continually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the holistic needs of our residents.

Ensuring all reporting requirements are efficiently completed

About you :

Does this sound like you?

Certification in Lifestyle and Leisure - highly desireable

Experience in Aged Care, Community Living or Health Services

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

A person-centred focus and commitment to providing a high level of service

Proven initiative and the ability to think outside the box when tailoring activities.

Experience working with people living with Dementia or Alzheimer's highly regarded

Availability to work Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 : 30am to 3pm

Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful

Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses)
