About LDK Seniors’ Living

LDK Seniors’ Living vision is for every senior Australian to be treated with Love, Decency & Kindness in their ageing journey. Our core values of Love, Decency & Kindness underpin our culture and guide every aspect of everything we do for our residents and our team members. All LDK villages combine the best part of retirement living and aged care to deliver our unique One Move Promise® – our guarantee that once our residents call LDK home, they will never have to move again.

LDK Seniors’ Living is redefining senior living across Australia by combining vibrant communities, premium amenities, and a full continuum of care. Our national portfolio spans three operational villages: Greenway Views in Tuggeranong, Canberra – our flagship village with 327 apartments, 6,000 sqm of communal space, and extensive facilities; Amberfield in Weston, Canberra – a premium village featuring 370+ homes, resort-style amenities, and a wellness centre; and The Landings in North Turramurra, Sydney – a luxury village with 220 villas and apartments set across 11.87 hectares, complete with clubhouse, heated pool, and arts spaces. Together, these villages deliver exceptional lifestyle and care for seniors, fostering community and well-being at every stage of life. With a fourth village in The Baybrook, Brisbane, currently planned for 350 dwellings, LDK continues to expand its national footprint and commitment to ensure every older Australian is treated with love, decency, and kindness.

About the Role

The Development Coordinator is a pivotal addition to our Developments team, who will provide support and administration on multiple village projects, including new builds and refurbishments. Working closely with Project Managers and the General Manager, this role contributes to the effective planning, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects across the portfolio. If you have a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills, this could be the role for you.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, programs, budgets, reports, and registers to ensure accurate and consistent project records.
  • Coordinate communication between consultants, contractors, authorities, internal teams, and residents.
  • Monitor project schedules and follow up on actions to support the timely achievement of key milestones.
  • Maintain project risk and issue registers, supporting Project Managers in implementing mitigation actions and tracking outcomes.
  • Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and financial status.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for site inspections, stakeholder engagement sessions, and project team meetings.
  • Assist with procurement activities, including tender coordination, contract administration, and documentation control.
  • Support compliance with statutory requirements, workplace health and safety standards, and LDK’s quality and governance frameworks.

Our Employee Value Proposition

LDK villages have established a reputation of being ‘truly happy places’ for residents. We know that this can only be achieved if our team feel connected, respected and valued. When you join LDK, you will be joining a for-purpose, values-led, people-first organisation that empowers and invests in our employees to develop, nurture and grow individual professional capability. You will work in a friendly, open and welcoming environment.

  • Onsite staff parking, cafes and restaurants available including a free daily Coffee or Tea!
  • Great retail discounts with stores including JB Hi-Fi, K-mart, Woolworths, Target and more.
  • Access to Comm-Bank Workplace Banking.
  • Continuous professional development and promotional opportunities.
  • Working in a supportive and welcoming environment with a culture driven by our organisational values.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting property development or construction projects, ideally within retirement living, multi-residential, or healthcare environments.
  • Understanding of building codes, planning legislation, and approval processes across federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software tools.

How to Apply

People who join LDK inherently possess and practice LDK values in their daily life. They have a desire and passion to apply these values toward a fulfilling purpose of caring for older people and want to work together with a team that are highly committed to the LDK vision.

If this sounds like you, and LDK sounds like the place you’ve been looking for, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the “apply” button and follow the prompts. Applications for this role will close at 11.59pm 2nd January 2026. We will get in touch if you are shortlisted for this opportunity.

We value diversity and inclusion and actively encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
