About The Role

We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver impactful therapy to NDIS participants. Your day may include :

  • Working in diverse settings such as homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centers
  • Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participant goals and optimize NDIS funding
  • Building meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks (family, carers, friends)
  • Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, using positive behaviour support frameworks
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on complex behavioural issues
  • Participating in weekly team meetings to share impact stories and foster team spirit
  • Accessing support from your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor

Who We Are Looking For

Our team values collaboration and shared principles. Candidates should :

  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor, Masters, or Graduate Diploma)
  • Have registration such as :
  • Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
  • Speech Pathologist with SPA registration
  • Social Worker eligible for AASW membership
  • Mental Health Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Degree in Psychology, Psychological / Social Science, or related fields
  • Additional requirements include :

  • Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required)
  • Minimum 12 months experience in the role
  • Positive, flexible approach and strong communication skills
  • Team player with a commitment to growth
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children's Check
