About The Role
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver impactful therapy to NDIS participants. Your day may include :
- Working in diverse settings such as homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centers
- Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participant goals and optimize NDIS funding
- Building meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks (family, carers, friends)
- Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, using positive behaviour support frameworks
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on complex behavioural issues
- Participating in weekly team meetings to share impact stories and foster team spirit
- Accessing support from your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor
