The Opportunity : As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for producing monthly management results for the WA operations, assisting with budgeting processes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and managing the company credit card system. Your ability to build strong working relationships across the organisation will be key in promoting a positive customer experience within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide financial planning and analysis support to the WA Management Team.
• Implement and monitor internal control systems and processes.
• Support and manage all aspects of shared services for WA operations, including AP, AR, and payroll.
• Produce monthly management results for WA operations.
• Process and cost company credit card systems.
• Assist with monthly GL journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Aid in preparing budgets and forecasts for WA operations.
• Collaborate with the WA Management Team to formulate short- and long-term financial and strategic plans.
• Analyse financial and operational results to understand and improve WA operations performance.
• Evaluate previous budgets and assist in building annual budgets and forecasts.
• Produce models for long-term growth, accounting for performance-impacting factors.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on WA operations performance.
• Communicate results and recommendations to senior management to drive revenue generation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Perform other general administration duties as required.
