New Hope is currently seeking a Stationhand to work within it's successful Bengalla Agricultural Company (BAC), a farming, grazing and land management enterprise located near Muswellbrook.

BAC works closely with its stakeholders to develop and operate sustainable farming practices including carbon projects and regenerative farming practices.

This position is a permanent full-time position.

About the role :

Reporting to the BAC Assistant Manager and part of a small team, you will be enthusiastic and motivated with an interest in working in mixed farming operation. You will support the BAC Assistant Manager and team in all agricultural activities.

You will be responsible for :

• Cattle handling in a safe and humane manner
• Work safely in accordance with BAC’s WHS Management Plan
• Operate farming machinery and carry out regular maintenance
• Assist with paddock fallow, planting, and cultivation processes
• Operate and maintain irrigation equipment
• Ensure that safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
