HOBANAustralia, South Australia, Port AdelaideAboriginal Cultural Centre opening in the Western Suburbs in June 2025, our client is seeking Casual Café / Kiosk Staff to help deliver a warm, welcoming, and culturally respectful visitor experience.
As part of the Centre's commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural leadership and community engagement, this is an Identified Position , and we strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander people
Shifts available : 10 : 00am - 2 : 00pm, 7 days / week
Pay : $45-50 per hour + weekend penalties
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly and professional front-of-house service in the café
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, cold drinks, and pre-packaged food
Operate the café point-of-sale system and manage transactions
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all café areas and equipment
Assist visitors with general enquiries and retail shop purchases
Support a culturally safe, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
What We're Looking For
Experience in a café, kiosk, hospitality or customer service role
Food Safety & Handling Certificate (essential)
Barista skills or experience using coffee equipment (desirable)
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (desirable, not essential)
Excellent communication skills and confidence in public-facing settings
Ability to work collaboratively in a busy team environment
