As our Mental Health Clinician, you will provide contemporary, evidence-based psychological support services to young people accessing the service. This role reports to the Clinical Lead and is a 12-month full-time maximum term contract. A part-time position may be considered for the right candidate.

The headspace intake team will undertake a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of all young people prior to referral to our Mental Health Clinicians. A range of on-site complementary services are available should additional supports be required, including Alcohol and Other Drug counselling, Vocational and Educational support, and group programs. The headspace team will work in partnership with Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive, wrap-around service for young people.

What you bring :

You will have experience working with mental health and well-being across a broad client base, leading to the provision of inclusive and high-quality therapeutic services, with a recovery and strengths-based focus. Experience working with young people and theirfamilies is highly desirable.
