Transform lives, every single dayDo you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, support and strategy to make it happen. As our Admin Assistant, you'll be key to our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities. You'll join a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven team where our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence are lived every day. Your opportunity As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will create a calm, welcoming and professional experience, including for people who may be in crisis or have complex needs. You will also provide practical administrative support that helps our services stay organised, well-resourced and responsive. Working closely with the Site Operations Manager and Community Services teams, you will coordinate reception, site administration, supplies, facilities requests, financial processing and internal communication. With Integrity And Resilience, You WillWelcome clients and visitors, respond to enquiries and connect people with the right Anglicare services. Manage reception and daily site processes, including sign-in, mail, supplies, rooms, equipment and contractor coordination. Protect privacy and confidentiality through accurate filing, storage, archiving and information-handling practices. Support staff inductions, meetings, catering, communications, resources and general administration. Process invoices, accounts payable items, expenditure, reconciliations and reimbursement requests accurately.

What you'll bring You are a warm, organised and dependable administrator who remains calm under pressure. You communicate respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality while delivering accurate, high-quality work. You share Anglicare's values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence and can bring these values to every interaction with clients, colleagues and community partners.

What's RequiredDemonstrated experience in an administration, reception or customer service role within a similar environment. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to welcome and support people who may be in crisis. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel capability, and confidence learning other systems. Excellent organisation, accuracy and time management, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

What's PreferredExperience in community services, health, mental health or another client-focused service environment. Experience with invoice processing, accounts payable, reconciliations or systems such as Basware. First Aid or Health and Safety Representative experience, or willingness to undertake relevant training.

Why Anglicare? We provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support and for the dedicated people who make it happen. At Anglicare, you'll get the security, stability and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that's ready for the future. You'll belong to a community of kind, humble and respectful people of all faiths and backgrounds and be supported to deepen your experience and shape a rewarding career.

  • Flexible work options, where operationally available, to support work and life.
  • Pay less tax and increase your take-home pay through salary packaging of up to $15,900.
  • Spend up to $2,650 on accommodation, meals and entertainment, also tax free through salary packaging.
  • Access ongoing professional development and training to grow your career.
  • Enjoy exclusive discounts at more than 400 retailers.
  • Access our Employee Assistance Program and Fitness Passport discounts at more than 800 gyms for you and your family.

We're many services, with one purpose: to meet people where they are and walk with them. At Anglicare, we believe everyone is Made for Connection - with God, with each other and with the places we call home. But sometimes life unravels. That's where Community and Mission steps in, offering hope, support and presence. From food relief to chaplaincy, crisis care to caring for the wellbeing of older people, every moment of connection matters. And it's not just what we do. It's how we do it: side‑side, with compassion and care.

Are you ready for a career that means more? Anglicare is as wonderfully diverse as the customers and communities we support. While we are guided by our Christian-based values, our team includes people of all faiths and backgrounds who share our commitment to serving others, and we value the diverse perspectives they bring. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and people of all ages, genders, abilities and cultural backgrounds. Application Close Date: September 30, 2026
