Location :   South-western coastal Suburbs of Adelaide, SA

Position Type :   Casual Contract positions through Maxima Labour Hire. Full-time hours available, Monday to Friday.

Hourly Rate :   $41.19ph + super

Role Overview

The Grounds person is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of grounds and sporting facilities. This includes watering, rolling, top-dressing, cutting, spraying, machining, fertilising and marking of football ovals, soccer, and cricket pitches, hard tennis courts and grass tennis courts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of all school facilities and grounds;
• Upkeep of grassed areas : machine mowing, hand mowing, brush cutting, edging, weeding, trimming, spraying, and general turf maintenance;
• Moving of boxes, furniture and other items, as directed;
• Weekly cleaning, oil and fuel checks of College vehicles;
• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
