Cement AustraliaGladstone, Queensland, Australia, QLD, AUWe’re offering a full-time, permanent position for an Operator Maintainer at the NRG Power Station in Gladstone. Reporting to the Team Leader – Ash Operations, you’ll be responsible for safely operating, maintaining, and servicing the ash processing plant. Key tasks include equipment maintenance, ash sampling and testing, recording results, and liaising with power station personnel.
The position offers a Monday-to-Friday roster, with hours from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm, and includes weekend work every 4 weeks.
Your Opportunity
- Contribute to a safe work environment for self and others, actively participating in safety meetings, observations and toolbox talks. Comply with Power Station & Cement Australia SHEQ policies and procedures
- Perform occasional boilermaker tasks as required.
- Operate control systems, perform scheduled and reactive maintenance of ash process related equipment including pneumatic conveying equipment, pneumatic systems and valves
- Monitor product quality through sample taking, analysis & minor reporting
- Commission plant equipment when required
- Maintain ash stocks to appropriate and practical levels
- Engage with Cement Australia Supply Chain & Logistics and others regarding site rules and power station requirements
- Ensure all customer deliveries are to specification and delivered on time
