About the Branch
The Infrastructure Division, within Education Business Services, has responsibility for the provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment) for the Department, which includes demographic forecasting and facilities planning, strategic asset management, delivery of capital projects, maintenance and minor works programs. The Division also provides property management, asset services contract management, security and environmental services to schools.
The Infrastructure Operations Directorate is responsible for delivery of asset and facilities management services including facilities operations contracted services, environment services, security and emergency management services to WA’s public schools, and leasing and property management. The directorate also has functional responsibility for the management of the WA Schools Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract and other service contracts.
About the Job
This is a senior leadership position. As Director you will lead the delivery of the Directorate’s infrastructure operational support for schools. This includes services such as strategic procurement and contract management, environmental health, water management, security, leasing and property management. You will also be accountable for the delivery of key major projects and strategic government initiatives associated with those services.
