About the engagement:
Green Light is partnering up with a leading company to engage an experienced Software Developer with experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, and API development, with a proven track record of working in CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API and microservice-based applications using TypeScript or JavaScript and Node.js.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker in CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS, including services such as ECS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, Kinesis Firehose, IAM, and SQS.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate APIs, including Google Apigee or equivalent API management platforms.
• Work closely with QA/Test teams to ensure automated testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines, supporting high-quality releases.
• Design and develop high-throughput, scalable applications to handle large volumes of data and traffic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Baseline Clearance Mandatory.
• TypeScript or JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
• Node.js development for API/microservices
• Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing with Mocha/Chai
• Experience developing containerized applications (Docker)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, Kinesis Firehose, IAM, SQS)
• API development and management (Google Apigee experience preferred)
• Experience in building high-throughput, scalable applications
• Exposure to CI/CD environments and automated testing frameworks
