The opportunity : We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Drafting Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Commercial Services across CSR's Interiors. Based across our North Ryde and Brookvale sites, this leadership role is central to driving service excellence, enhancing customer experience, and supporting sustainable business growth.

You will lead a skilled team responsible for drafting, estimating, and take‑off services, ensuring quality, accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every customer interaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, commercially minded leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Commercial Services to deliver measurable customer value, loyalty, and revenue growth.
• Oversee drafting, estimating and take‑off services, ensuring accuracy, service quality and consistent delivery against SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, lead time, cost efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage internal teams and external service providers to deliver timely, cost‑effective, high‑quality outputs aligned to CSR standards.
• Align service offerings with commercial strategy by partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Specification teams.
• Translate service capability into clear value propositions that differentiate CSR in the market.
• Prioritise and manage the pipeline of customer requests to meet service levels and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Analyse market trends and customer insights to guide service improvements and maintain competitive advantage.
• Build strong relationships with CSR stakeholders, key customers and regional teams (including NZ) to support growth and innovation.

About You :

• Tertiary qualifications in design, architecture, engineering or construction (preferred).
• 8+ years' experience in building or construction, ideally in drafting, estimating, QS or technical services.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino3D or similar industry software.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with accuracy.
• Experience leading or managing outsourced, hybrid or technical service teams.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, codes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear, customer‑focused messaging.
• Strong project management capability with demonstrated success delivering multiple projects on time.
• Proven leadership capability with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
