About the role:
• Forget those tedious textbooks, you’ll immerse yourself in hands-on work experience, solving live construction problems whilst getting exposure to specific areas related to your degree
• Work on a consistent basis, not just vacation work
• Exposure to a variety of projects like the Tonkin Extension Alliance, Reid Highway Interchanges, Ground Transport Consolidation Project (Perth Airport), Alkimos Pipeline Alliance, Fiona Stanley Hospital Carpark and Ocean Reef Marina
• Receive mentoring from experienced senior leaders and access to a peer support network where you can connect with other cadets and graduates
• Be part of Georgiou’s high performing national Environment and Sustainability team. The team meets quarterly to knowledge share on a national level across an array of Project’s for key clients.
• Participate in in-house training programs
• A fun and supportive work environment with a team who know how to work hard but have a little extra life in their work-life balance
Enough about us, we want to know who you are:
• You must be currently completing an Environmental Science Degree (or related science degree)
• You’re inspired by our values of care, integrity and excellence – you want to be part of the 'best people to work with'
• You are ideally available to commence in May, and can commit to a minimum of 1 day a week during term time (trust us, you’ll want to work more though)
• You’re on the home stretch and have a minimum of 1 year left of studies as of your start date
• You have a thirst for knowledge and you’re keen to embrace Georgiou’s culture
