We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Estimator to join the Bidding Energy & Resources Team in North Sydney! In this role, you will lead the estimating team to deliver accurate estimates for tenders and ongoing works, using your technical expertise and industry benchmarks. You’ll guide and develop estimators, provide market insights on cost and productivity, and ensure high-quality outputs. As part of a national team across WA, QLD, and NSW, you may need to travel during bid studies. You’ll also support internal approvals and participate in corporate review meetings when required.

Your focus will include :
- Provide support to WB / Clough project teams where Capex estimates are required as a project deliverable.
- Maintain quality from the team of estimators to provide competitive cost estimates for the specific Tender.
- Ensure the tender is compiled using the Clough estimating software and that the estimate is developed and structured using the Clough Standard Area breakdown Structure.
- Take the leadership in developing the Direct and indirect cost for the tender to ensure that Management is provided confidence to access the optimum sell price.
- Develop and co-ordinate the following :
Proposed construction methods. Preliminary works schedule (programme). Direct cost estimates. Indirect cost estimates. Proposed qualifications / clarifications to be submitted with the tender / proposal. Unit rates / day work rates to be submitted with the tender.
