Formwork Jobs in Australia

Working on a major project in Perth and Western Australia, we are currently seeking a Full-time Formwork Carpenter.

Salary: $45 per hour

3-month probation period. The job has the potential to become full-time employment for the right candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use building blueprints and diagrams to determine the proper dimensions, shape, and design of a form structure.

•Construct the molds that hold wet concrete in foundations and other concrete structures;

•Carry heavy forms, and spray them with oil to keep the concrete from sticking;

•Secure forms with iron rods and insert steel reinforcement to give the concrete strength;

•Strip the forms, clean them, and prepare them for the next project once concrete sets;

• Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and verify the trueness of structures.

What you'll need to succeed

·Carpentry: 3 years’ experience (required)

·White card

·Proof of rights to work in Australia

·PPE (long sleeve, long pants, hard hat, hi vis & steel cap boots)

·You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen before commencing employment

·Construction tickets such as High-Risk Work, Working At Heights, EWP
