What The Day Will Look Like
You will focus on supporting a team that educates clients on risk and insurance products, submits, and brokers business, presents, and closes opportunities, and services accounts. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a Small Business Insurance portfolio of new and existing clients
- Achieve personal and team revenue targets within identified markets – working to clear KPI’s and targets across Acquisition and Retention
- Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
- Negotiate new & renewal terms with underwriters
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed client expectations
- Multi‑task while navigating a range of technologies
- Collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
- Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations
- Participate in training and coaching sessions to develop technical knowledge
- Support all aspects of the workload of high‑volume quotations, inbound/outbound calls, emails and Salesforce leads
- Interface with prospects through several channels, such as Salesforce Software, and inbound and outbound phone calls

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success
- Experience across Insurance Broking
- Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets and KPI’s
- Experience in Insurance and Claims or in Financial Services servicing clients
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to tackle problems creatively and show initiative
- Possesses a zest for learning and the ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed
- Sales attitude and ability to make a connection with clients
- Tier 1 accreditation / Insurance Broking qualifications
