Kappa Executive SearchAustraliaKappa Executive Search is working with a highly regarded architecture and interiors studio known for their refined, residential-focused design ethos. With a growing portfolio of bespoke homes, boutique multi-residential, and hospitality interiors, this studio is now seeking a talented and detail-driven Interior Designer to join their collaborative Sydney-based team.
The RoleAs a Mid-Level Interior Designer, you'll take an active role in delivering design-led projects from early concept through to construction. Responsibilities include :
Collaborating with Directors and senior designers to shape thoughtful and functional interior spaces
Translating client briefs into innovative, buildable design solutions
Liaising directly with clients, consultants, and suppliers across all phases
Attending site meetings and assisting with construction administration
Supporting and mentoring junior team members while maintaining a high standard of design integrity
What You'll NeedMinimum 4 years' post-graduate experience in interior design
Experience working on high-end residential, multi-res, or boutique hospitality projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit also valued); strong skills in documentation and detailing
Excellent knowledge of materials, joinery, and Australian standards
Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design
Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects
A design-driven mindset and passion for interiors that are both refined and functional
