Due to the growth and expansion of our Mechanical & Rentals Company, we are seeking a qualified Parts Interpreter / Store Person to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter / Store Person who is responsible for the ordering and interpreting of spare parts and the provision of accurate, timely technical and product information to Ezy Mechanical customers and internal departments.

You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor & complete all tasks as required. The role currently will be 5 Days / Week and is based in Mackay, Queensland.

Previous Experience

Must have experience in Toyota parts systems and proven ability to interpret parts accurately under pressure. Demonstrated knowledge of managing and maintaining stockroom will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Parts Interpreting (highly regarded)
Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence
Clean Driving Record
Current Fork Lift Licence

Attributes

Mechanical aptitude / spare parts knowledge

Ability to work autonomously, within a team environment

High attention to detail and excellent time management

Sound computer skills essential to work within a paperless computer based scheduling & management system

You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, where you will be able to multitask and prioritise

Honesty, neat tidy appearance & a strong work ethic are highly regarded & will form part of the selection process

Exceptional communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Ezy Mechanical is a well-established, locally owned family business that forms a large part of the Ezy Group of Companies which has been operating in the Mackay, Whitsundays & Coal fields region for over 17years.

We are a Sales & Service organisation with a focus on Mechanical Repairs & Preventative Maintenance. We work closely with our customers to meet their expectations in service delivery, quality workmanship and value for money.

We offer a very wide variety of work which is in equal parts challenging & also very rewarding. The scope of vehicles we maintain covers the full range of passenger Light Vehicles specialising in mine compliant fleet based vehicles.
