Kindergarten Teacher Jobs in Australia

Our Early Learning Centre located in Macedon delivers exceptional quality care and education for children aged six weeks to six years and includes a fully accredited kindergarten and an exceptional Bush Kindergarten Program.

We are seeking a dynamic Early Childhood Teacher to support our funded kindergarten program.

To be successful for any of the above positions you will also have :

• Bachelor in early childhood teaching (or ACECQA approved)
• VIT registration (provisional or Full)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
• Child Protection Training
• Red Nose training (willingness to obtain)
• Food Safety (willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
• Sound understanding of the approved learning frameworks and the requirements under the National Quality Framework
• A team player with a strong focus on community and teamwork
• Established Leadership skills to support a culture of reflective practice to encourage continuous improvement across all aspects of the service
• Experience in leading the development and implementation of the educational program and assessment, as well as the planning cycle.
• Experience using Story Park (or willingness to learn)
• Experience in mentoring and supporting teams
• Flexibility to work within the operational hours if an education and care service
• Available to work Monday to Friday during the operational times of the centre
