Wales formally Parins is a renowned brand in the heavy vehicle smash repair industry and is a division under AMA Group - Heavy Motors. Wales has been known around Perth for being ‘Built on Quality’ for over 50 years: The 5-acre covered site is purpose‑built for heavy vehicle repairs, with 28 truck bays and 7 trailer bays in the mechanical workshop, 8 panel shop bays, and 5 paint shop bays with 2 large spray booths built specifically for Heavy Vehicles — all kept in pristine condition.
There’s ample staff parking, and a parts retailer on site. The team maintains a supportive, family atmosphere and enjoys flexible working hours and fantastic remuneration packages — with rewards programs, corporate discounts, referral bonuses and service length milestones.

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanic to join the team at Wales Perth
Role responsibilities
- Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
- Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts.
- Quality control and inspection of vehicles.
- Test driving vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards.
- Perform wheel alignments
- Carry out system updates to diagnostic computers and wheel alignment computers when necessary.
- Label parts and store.
- Check new parts are correct and undamaged.
- Perform any adaptations based on completed diagnoses.
- Clean work bay and workshop areas.

- Experience and training as a qualified Mechanic (essential)
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Desire to grow and build skills.
- Good attitude, with excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and process driven.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work.
