Is this the opportunity you're looking for?We're after a qualified Mechanic / Fitter for our workshop located in Bayswater, Victoria. The job isa regular 40-hour week with additional overtime as required.
Being mechanically minded, you'll be specialising in the repair of Dana axles, transmissions and torque converters with some exposure to manual gearboxes and diffrepairs for passenger and 4WD Vehicles.

Bench work only for heavy transmissions and axles.
Monday to Friday day work plus overtime, as required.

What you'll need to demonstrate...The ability to work autonomously whilst being part of a team environment.
Being motivated andcapable of delivering quality products.
A proven ability to work safely and consistently.
Following all company Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
Ability to work permanently in Australia.
What you'll be doingRepairing and overhauling axles and transmissions as required.
Testing axles and transmissions for quality prior to leaving the workshop.
Maintaining accurate records of all work performed.
Adhering to all workshop safety procedures and policies.
What we're looking forExperience in a mechanical workshop with knowledge of heavy vehicle axles and transmissions is advantageous but not essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines.
Current driver's licence and industry / trade experience.
