The Opportunity
We are seeking Assistant in Nursing to support our Day Surgery Unit at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. This role would be well suited to an AIN or a 2 nd Year Nursing Undergraduate with an interest in surgical nursing. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills And Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.
You will also demonstrate :
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2 nd or 3 rd year Registered Nursing student.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated and able to work effectively according to directionsHigh level of interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of customer service and excellent time management skillsUnderstanding of infection control principles
