We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Night Manager (part-time) to lead overnight operations at Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank.
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s vibrant entertainment and arts precinct, the hotel is an architecturally striking landmark—recognised as the city’s first cross-laminated timber build—blending sustainability with contemporary design, offering 220 spacious studios and one-and two-bedroom apartments.
The Role
You’ll lead the hotel overnight, creating a calm and welcoming environment while ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely and seamlessly. With a hands-on approach, you’ll support your team and deliver confident, guest-focused service at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead overnight hotel operations, ensuring smooth running across Front Office and public areas
- Be the main contact for guests and team, confidently handling enquiries and issues
- Complete night audit processes, ensuring accurate reporting and system updates
- Support reception duties including check-in, check-out and guest requests
- Guide and support the night team, maintaining a positive and productive environment
- Ensure safety, security, and high presentation standards throughout the hotel
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in a Front Office leadership or Night Manager role within a hotel environment
- A calm, confident approach with the ability to make decisions and problem-solve under pressure
- Strong communication skills, with a natural ability to lead and support a team
- A guest-first mindset, with a passion for creating positive and memorable experiences
- High attention to detail, particularly across reporting, auditing and operational processes
- Confidence using hotel systems including PMS, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Reliability and flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A professional approach with strong personal presentation
- A current RSA and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
