Introducing our fantastic Ipswich 'Store of The Year' for the London and EA territory who have aspirations to become a Centre of Expertise and proud to achieve FIVE record weeks last year!!

This is a busy standalone store which had a shiny new refit in November 2023 with 4 testing rooms, OCT, Optomap and 4 phoropters.

Due to expansion we have 2 Optometrist positions available, as always we are flexible with working patterns to suit you. Ideally you will work at least one day in the weekend, we are happy to consider alternate Saturday / Sunday.

We currently have a team of 10 with 2 DO's and 25 minutes testing time.

Monday - Saturday hours : 9-5.30pm

Sunday hours : 10.30-4.30pm.

Your main responsibilities will include :

Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patientsTesting eyes using the latest technology whilst maintaining outstanding patient care.Delivering enhanced services depending on the store needsResponding to emergency triagesWorking with external healthcare professionalsProviding clinical support to team members on the shop floorProviding advice to patients using your clinical knowledgeKeeping up to date with latest clinical practices.Working closely with senior stakeholders What you'll need to have

The essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role : GOC registered (or expecting to be in the next 6 months)Additional registration with the relevant NHS bodyDrive to deliver excellent patient care.Excellent communication and organisation skillsThe motivation to 'See What's Possible' for our teams, customers, and patients.
