We’re looking for a friendly and customer focused Optical Assistant or Dispenser (full-time or part-time) to join our team. ABOUT YOU

No optical experience? No problem! If you have strong retail, fashion, or customer service experience, we’ll provide the training to help you succeed in optical dispensing.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Attributes:

Strong retail experience (optical experience is a plus but not required)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confidence in styling and an eye for colour coordination
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

Desirable Attributes:

Previous experience in optical dispensing or a related field
An interest in fashion and eyewear trends
Comfortable engaging with social media platforms
Proactive and enjoys problem-solving in a retail setting
Ambition to pursue formal optical dispensing qualifications (training provided)

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be a key part of our team, helping customers find the perfect eyewear while delivering an outstanding in store experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style and needs
Providing excellent customer service and building strong patient relationships
Handling sales transactions and ensuring a smooth retail experience
Staying up to date with eyewear trends to offer informed recommendations
Supporting general administrative and reception tasks as needed
Helping maintain store presentation and organisation

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys retail, has an eye for fashion, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for customers.
