The primary purpose of this role is to support the Head of Banking Partnerships in a market facing capacity in relation to the NAB Portfolio as well as optimise growth and profitability outcomes for the portfolio encompassing customer experience, strategic program delivery, acquisition across all channels, pricing and claims to effectively respond to the needs of business partners. In addition, the role is to support the coordination of Marketing, Digital, and Technical initiatives.

About the role

• Proactively manage and analyse portfolios to improve client profitability and performance.
• Develop, implement, and review cycle management plans aligned to agreed objectives and strategies.
• Deliver performance reporting, identify emerging trends, and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and key portfolio initiatives, including internal, external, and third‑party partners.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing portfolios while ensuring compliant third‑party distribution oversight.

About you

• Strong experience in the contemporary insurance industry with the ability to mobilise the function in line with key business drivers.
• Demonstrates high commercial acumen, leveraging market insights, risks, opportunities, competitors, and influencing levers to drive outcomes.
• Builds and maintains strong professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, knowledge sharing, and mutual value.
• Leads, coaches, and empowers teams while delivering high‑quality services and positive customer experiences that strengthen and sustain the customer base.
• Highly effective communicator and influencer, with proven strategic sales capability, business planning, negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver engaging presentations to all audience levels.
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
