We are seeking expressions of interest for current or aspiring VE Teachers who have relevant industry qualifications and vocational teaching qualifications OR currently obtaining a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116).
Trades Program Areas
About the role
As a VE Teacher at RMIT, you will be mainly responsible for delivering course material, assessing students, and supervising students enrolled in selected courses in the School.
Participation in the School's continuing reviews of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including on-line delivery methods) and methods of students' assessment will also form part of this role. You will interact with external organisations, industry groups and RMIT teaching and administration staff. Your performance will be underpinned by participation in relevant activities which ensure your vocational competence meets and / or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.
Please Note : Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
