As we scale our e-commerce operations and expand our digital footprint to broader markets (including the Asian export market), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Designer to overhaul and manage our visual digital presence.

The Role

We are looking for a creative Web Designer who can translate the rugged, high-quality nature of our physical products into a seamless online visual experience. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing our web interfaces, with a particular emphasis on layout, colour, animation, and ease of navigation to increase sales conversion. Your background in Industrial Design will be a unique asset, allowing you to better understand and visualise our technical products on the web.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute the visual design of the company website, ensuring high-quality graphical presentation of our toolboxes and canopies.

Formulate design concepts and prepare sketches, diagrams, and high-fidelity wireframes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas to stakeholders.

Redesign web pages to improve ease of navigation and information location, specifically tailoring the interface for both desktop and mobile users (responsive design).

Select and create functional and aesthetic media (icons, animations, and product promotional graphics) to enhance the online product display.

Design and document layouts specifically for the Greater China market, including visual interfaces for WeChat Mini-programs and localised landing pages.

Analyze functional communication requirements to design checkout flows and product detail pages that drive user engagement and reduce cart abandonment.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Design (Industrial Design, Multimedia Design, or Graphic Design). Candidates with an Industrial Design background are highly preferred due to the technical nature of our product range.

5+ years of experience as a Web Designer or UI Designer, preferably within the e-commerce or tech sector.

Expert proficiency in design software : Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and Figma.

Proven experience in designing for the Chinese digital ecosystem (e.g., WeChat interface design) is a distinct advantage for our market expansion.

Strong portfolio demonstrating capability in layout design, typography, colour theory, and responsive web design.

Ability to negotiate design solutions with management and sales staff to meet business objectives.
