We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for an upcoming project in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and control construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate resources and teams to ensure sufficient labour, plant, and subcontractors, while monitoring progress and performance.
• Integrate project functions by working closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, quality, and document control to support efficient construction delivery.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance by enforcing HSSE standards, workplace laws, environmental licence conditions, and record‑keeping requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships by liaising with clients, supporting employee relations, maintaining project data, and completing ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications and experience

• The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
• You will have extensive Construction Management experience working within the utilities infrastructure sectors specifically on Brownfield substation environments.
• You will have a strong understanding and knowledge of construction principles on all associated construction works including foundations, structures and access tracks.
• You will have a high level of business and commercial acumen backed by a sound ability to create, read, and interpret budgets, financial statements and analyse variance reports.
• Tertiary Engineering qualification or relevant industry trade background desired.
