Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

• You will bring your experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area, including apprentice, pre-apprenticeship and pre-vocational.
• Your primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and / or training package requirements.
• You will undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery.
• In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development.
• You provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
• You have a technical background to understand and relate to the team and students.
• It is essential that you are able to mentor – Previous experience of working with and mentoring apprentices will be an advantage.
• You will bring a positive attitude and have a professional attitude.
• You have excellent communication and written skills.
• You are Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• You hold a WA Electrical Licence.
• You have completed several years in your Electrical trade.
• You hold an Electrical trade certificate.
