An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Australia’s leading multi-protein producers and processors in a growth-focused sales role based in Victoria.
Myclient is a multi-billion-dollar global supplier with a long-standing reputation for quality, scale, and reliability across both domestic and international markets. As the business continues to strengthen its presence in Australia, they are now looking to add an experienced industry professional to their Victorian team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major supplier in a role that offers genuine long-term career development, including the potential to evolve into a 2IC position to the Victorian Sales Manager as the team grows over the next two years.
The Opportunity: This role will focus on growing the Victorian market across multiple sales channels, building strong relationships with customers across the meat and protein industry.
You will work across a broad customer base including:
- Foodservice & hospitality venues
- Wholesale meat customers
- Butchers and independent supermarkets
- Further processors and manufacturers
You will be selling a diverse portfolio of primal cuts, portion-controlled products, and value-added protein lines, working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver consistent quality and supply.
This is a relationship-driven sales role where you’ll spend time out in the market developing new opportunities while also growing existing customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the Victorian market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale, foodservice, and processing customers
- Identify opportunities to expand product ranges across existing accounts
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market activity and identify growth opportunities within the meat category
- Support the Victorian Sales Manager in driving growth across the region
About You: This role is specifically suited to someone with experience within the meat industry who understands the products, customers, and dynamics of the category.
You may currently be:
- Working in wholesale meat sales and looking to step up to the supplier/processor level
- Working within the meat export sector and interested in transitioning into the domestic market, focusing on Victorian customers
- Already working for a processor or supplier and looking for a broader multi-channel role
You will likely have:
- Experience working within the meat industry (essential)
- Strong relationships or exposure to wholesale, foodservice, butchers, or processing channels
- A commercial mindset and ability to grow accounts and win new business
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A genuine interest in the meat and protein sector
