We are recruiting for Aussie Green Farm — a large, vertically integrated agricultural business operating across ~11,000 acres in regional NSW. The company breeds and finishes goats and cattle and operates a licensed slaughtering and primary-processing facility at Oberon, supplying local and regional markets. This recruitment is for the farm’s meat-processing operation at the Oberon facility.
We have 15 vacancies for reliable, safety-focused Meat Processors to join the processing team. These roles are critical to maintaining food-safety standards and delivery of high-quality goat and beef products from the farm to market.
Key duties·Primary dressing, boning, trimming and portioning of carcasses (goat and cattle) to specification.
·Operate basic processing equipment (knives, de-boning tools, conveyor lines) following safe work procedures.
·Work in chill/processing rooms and maintain personal and area hygiene to meet food safety standards.
·Pack, label and prepare product for cold storage and dispatch.
·Follow HACCP, NSW Meat Processing and workplace health & safety requirements.
·Assist with line speed production targets while maintaining quality standards.
·Routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
·Report quality or animal welfare issues to supervisors.
We’re looking for people who·
·Skill level equivalent to AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing plus 1 year experience in Australia or 2 years overseas experience.
·Have prior experience in meat processing, abattoir, butchery or similar food-processing environment.
·Understand and follow food-safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to complete food-safety training).
·Are physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods, working in chilled conditions and performing repetitive manual tasks.
·Work well in a team, take direction, and show attention to detail.
