DSQ Pty Ltd provides land surveying services to the government, corporate and public sectors. Currently working on projects throughout Australia on various residential and industrial land developments, high-rise units, government infrastructure, infrastructure projects and hydrographic surveys. Our team has professional expertise over many years in all areas of surveying, GIS and land management. We have offices at Warana (Sunshine Coast), Chinchilla and Dalby (Western Downs) and Toowoomba.

DSQ is currently seeking applications for Experienced Surveyors & Survey Assistants / Students to join our Chinchilla team.

The position is based at our Chinchilla office, you will be working on a shift roster of 15 days on, 13 days off with 10-hour workdays. All positions are casual, you will be offered an above award rate, this is a flat rate for all hours worked. Your point of hire will be Chinchilla 4413, all accommodation and meals are provided. Free busses from Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast to Chinchilla (and return).

Positions are available to start as soon as possible. Pre-Employment medicals are required prior to commencing, DSQ will organise and cover the costs associated with the pre-employment medical.

General Requirements for all applicants :

• Applicants must be legally able to work in Australia (Australian Resident or have a current Australian Work Visa).
• Full open drivers licence (no provisional licences)

Role Overview : Experienced Surveyors, rate on offer -$60 casual flat rate per hour (higher rates offered for Surveyors registered with SBQ).

Various surveys including detail surveys, construction set-out surveys, monitoring surveys and volumetric surveys.

Requirements :

Surveying Students, rate on offer -$38 casual flat rate per hour.

Assisting the surveyors to measure, operate and place survey marks (pegs, pins, stakes etc.). Assisting with collection of field data, supporting the team with vehicle preparation and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.

Requirements :

The Survey Assistant / Student position doesn't require any commitment to studying surveying, however, it is looked upon favourably if you are enrolled or intending to commence studying in

spatial science. Experience in labour and outdoor working environments are highly regarded.
