Assistant General Counsel

Our client is looking for a dedicated and professional Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team. Responsibilities

• Advise senior management and stakeholders on legal risks, business strategies, and compliance implications.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mitigate potential risks.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the organization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Handle and manage legal disputes, including liaising with external counsel and overseeing litigation or arbitration matters.
• Develop and maintain best practices for governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Provide training to internal teams on legal and regulatory issues relevant to operations.
• Assist the General Counsel in shaping legal strategy and ensuring organizational alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
