ABOUT THE ROLE

As Adviser Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Asset Management you will be responsible for undertaking highlevel administration of AMSAs regional AtoN essential maintenance and other service contracts and ensure key contract deliverables are met.

You will be responsible for :

  • Manage the daytoday operational relationship with AMSAs AtoN maintenance and other service providers.
  • Liaise with service providers on issues associated with reporting (monthly quarterly and annual) audits improvement proposals projects and financial management.
  • Monitor the service providers performance against agreed work plans and KPIs.
  • Assess and approve AtoN fault and failure response plans
  • Develop proposals and project management documentation for AtoN corrective maintenance and improvement work.
  • Assist with AtoN asset purchases as required.
  • Maintain relevant policies and procedural documentation consistent with AMSAs management framework.
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience :

  • Relevant project / contract management qualifications or relevant engineering trade or similar background with extensive contract / project management experience.
  • Project and contract management skills including the ability to manage multiple contracts / projects.
  • Experience in auditing external service provider contract deliverables.
  • Understanding of marine AtoN systems equipment and terminology.
  • Knowledge of and experience with asset management and record keeping systems.
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary safety environmental and risk management practices
