Credit Analyst – Commercial

The role is responsible for assessing eligibility and managing and organising data of loan submissions while maintaining good relationships with broker network originators.

Roles and responsibilities

Assessment of Loan Submissions.

• Manage and organise loan submission data in accordance with company privacy and data security policies
• Conduct assessment of loans by analysing loan application data in accordance with Metro Policies;
• Suggest improvements to processes and policies related to data analysis and credit assessments where possible
• MPS1 Credit Application and Analysis with use of GPS5 Risk Framework as a general guideline.
• Assessment is within the analysts own delegation or recommended up when outside to higher delegation holder. All applications will be processed via the Metro Broker Portal.

Communication with brokers on scenarios / decisioning

Enquiries from other departments as required.

How to succeed

This role would suit a team player with a can-do attitude willing to take the initiative. Youll possess excellent verbal and written communication skills strong numeracy skills the ability to spread financials and the ability to discuss financial statements with preparers / management. Previous novated-lending experience is an absolute must-have.
