TAS Teacher - Timber

About the Role 🪵

Full-time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026

Teach Timber, Woodwork and related TAS subjects across Years 7-12, including Stage 6

Contribute to curriculum development, practical project design, and assessment

Work in well-equipped specialist workshops with modern tools and resources

Collaborate with a dedicated TAS faculty passionate about applied learning

About You 👨‍🏫

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Technology / Applied Studies with a Timber / Woodwork specialism
• NESA accreditation and current Working With Children Check
• Strong knowledge of safe workshop practices and WHS compliance
• Ability to deliver engaging, practical, and innovative lessons
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to the ethos of an independent school and willingness to contribute to co-curricular programs
