We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Centre Manager to lead our multidisciplinary oncology team at our brand new Cancer Care Manning Great Lakes site. What’s Involved :
As the Centre Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a dynamic oncology centre, ensuring seamless service delivery and the highest standards of patient care. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong organisational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in oncology or radiation therapy administration.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee daily administration functions, including patient scheduling, billing, records management, and correspondence.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, keeping patient experience at the centre of everything we do.
- Manage staffing and resources effectively to support smooth workflows, high productivity, and clinical excellence.
- Build and nurture a high-performance, collaborative team culture focused on compassion and patient‑centric care.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal clinicians and external referrers.
Who You Are :
You are a compassionate and organised professional with a strong background in healthcare administration. You thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy problem‑solving, and are committed to delivering a seamless experience for patients and staff alike.
Demonstrated ability to work with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.Passionate about providing outstanding customer service and patient support.Experienced in managing administrative operations in a hospital, day hospital, or specialist practice setting.Adept at coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders with clear and effective communication.Strong organisational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.Familiar with medical billing, Medicare, DVA, and private health insurance processes.Confident working with healthcare software systems (e.g., Mosaiq), as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.Committed to continuous improvement and supporting a collaborative team culture.What You Bring :
Proven experience in healthcare administration, preferably within an oncology, radiation therapy, or specialist medical environment.Strong understanding of medical billing processes, including Medicare, DVA, and private health insurance.Proficiency in using healthcare management systems (e.g., Mosaiq) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, high‑performing, and patient‑focused culture.Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders, building trusted relationships to support service delivery.A proactive approach to problem‑solving, service improvement, and maintaining high standards of care and efficiency.What We Offer :
