Keramos Pty Ltd based in Port Kennedy is rapidly evolving as a market leader in high performance wear materials in the mining and manufacturing market sectors.

We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and as such, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

Salary package dependent on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design of a wide range of products for wear applications in the mining industry.

This requires the ability to design and draft cost-effective solutions using appropriate material selections.

Assisting sales team with technical expertise as required by our customers.

This may include on-site presentations to customers, providing written operations manuals, procedures, and technical information.

Working alongside drafting team and offering support as required.

Assisting manufacturing team with appropriate solutions to various manufacturing issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor level degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or similar.

Experienced in Inventor 3D (preferred) or Solidworks mechanical modelling, FEA and flow simulation.

Demonstrated knowledge of materials (metals, rubbers, polymers and ceramics).

Desirable Experience

Ability to perform pump calculations, experience with pump operations.

Mine site experience.

Trade background.
