Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Visiting Music Teachers (Low Brass) for a casual position. The position is a leave replacement position from 19 June 2025 – 19 Sept 2025 at our Glen Waverley Campus. We are seeking a highly skilled lower brass specialist (tuba, euphonium, and trombone) with ability to teach a broad range of musical genres. Ability to teach the upper brass family and / or improvisation would be advantageous. Students span the range of Years 4 to 12. This position currently consists of approximately 1.5 days of teaching, with an opportunity to increase. Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday 12 May 2025.
