Are you looking for an opportunity to grow and enhance your skills as a Hardware Engineer in a dynamic industry that is constantly developing and delivering innovative, next-generation capabilities?

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following :

• Develop and prototyping of new power and control circuits, including programmable logic devices, or design modification of existing products
• Programming and simulation of logic circuitry in VHDL using Xilinx
• Develop software for microprocessor-based circuits, including serial communications interfaces
• Generate DC schematic diagrams and lay out DC PCBs using Altium
• Creation of DC power budgets to track power consumption
• Documentation of product design either directly or through supervision of contractors or drawing office staff as appropriate
• Perform stress analysis and reliability predictions
• Qualification testing of new products, including EMI / EMC, etc
• Ability to deal with customers and present design details during customer reviews
• Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints
• Participate in R&D meetings to evaluate new technical opportunities and contribute to company strategic direction
