Senior Data Scientist

Relocation is available, including overseas (UK) if you are a lead or management level within iGaming and sports betting.

One of our leading sports gaming operator customers is continuing to evolve its sports modelling capability and is looking for a Data Scientist to join its Trading and Analytics team in Melbourne.

This role goes beyond traditional analytics. You will work directly on sports models, help improve proprietary modelling techniques, and play a hands‑on role in bringing models into production that directly influence trading decisions.

You will collaborate closely with Trading, Technology, and Product, building automation pipelines, improving model performance, and iterating based on real trader feedback.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and improving sports betting models
• Building automation pipelines to support trading operations
• Integrating data science models into production environments
• Working with traders to refine models based on live feedback
• Solving complex business problems using applied mathematics and data science
• Contributing to strong coding, modelling, CI, and CD practices
