Job Title : Project Manager - Permanent Improvement Program
SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES :
The Project Manager – Permanent Improvement Program (PIP) drives strategic improvement initiatives across Eurofins Environment Testing laboratories and business units in Australia. This role focuses on delivering operational excellence through the deployment of PIP methodologies, managing building and process improvement projects, and ensuring sustainable results.
The Project Manager will also coach local teams, embed continuous improvement practices, and lead / support change management efforts to achieve measurable business outcomes. Additionally, the Project Manager will lead initiatives in Power BI automation and database management, transition and implementation of LIMS systems, and establishment of group and local reporting requirements to support future business needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES :
1. Project Leadership
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.Develop project plans, budgets, and KPIs to ensure delivery on‑time and within scope.Monitor progress, manage risks, and elevate issues where necessary.Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Deploy initiatives such as APCC (Industrial Cost of Tests), PSAD (productivity benchmarking), and TCPC (Price / Volume analysis) across laboratories.Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs and enhance efficiency.Standardize tools and best practices across all business units.Support other PIP initiatives as directed by leadership.3. Technology & Data Management
Lead hands‑on management of Power BI automation and database integration for improved reporting efficiency.Oversee the identification, evaluation, and implementation of appropriate LIMS systems, including the transition from ELVIS to selected platforms.Drive digital transformation initiatives to support scalable business intelligence and reporting solutions.4. Building & Infrastructure Projects
Coordinate layout reviews with Lean / OBP experts to optimise operational workflows.Oversee implementation of layout changes for new buildings or upgrades.Ensure building designs align with operational efficiency and business growth.5. Stakeholder Engagement & Coaching
Mentor local project managers and teams to strengthen internal improvement capabilities.Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive project success.6. Group Reporting & Strategic Insights
Manage projects to establish, maintain and coordinate reporting locally and to the Group, such as CO2 data collection, validation and reporting.Implement Sub‑BU P&L reporting frameworks and ensure accurate delivery of financial insights.Oversee NPS (Net Promoter Score) reporting and integrate findings into business improvement initiatives.7. Continuous Improvement & Change Management
Promote adoption of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.Ensure projects deliver sustainable business outcomes and measurable results.Document and share best practices across the Eurofins network.EVOLUTION :

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field.Proven project management experience, ideally in laboratory or technical environments.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies (preferred).Strong analytical and financial skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and project management tools.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Ability to travel across Australia as required.Experience in managing technology and data automation projects (Power BI, LIMS) is highly desirable.PREFERRED SKILLS AND SUCCESS PROFILE :
