Our Client :

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is a government-owned corporation responsible for the management and maintenance of approximately 8,500 kilometers of rail track across several regions of Australia, including New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and the Hunter Valley. ARTC oversees the national rail network, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of freight and passenger services, and provides a range of services such as network access, track maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunities :

1. Heavy Plant (Auto) Electrician : Workshop based M-F

  • Work within the National Services workshop crew in Goulburn, performing inspections, maintenance, repair, upgrade, and complete overhauls on mobile plant equipment.
  • OTE up to $150,000p / a +super, including allowance and overtime.

2.   Heavy Plant (Auto) Electrician : Travel Crew 8 : 6

  • Work away within the heavy plant Operations Crew, performing proactive and reactive maintenance and of heavy plant Assets and other rail bound.
  • OTE up to $180,000p / a +super including allowance and overtime
  • Benefits :
  • Paid 3 hours travel to depart for work from Goulburn
  • Living away allowance : Options for self-managed claims or direct ARTC coverage for accommodation and meals.

    • Key Competencies :

  • Trade qualified : Cert 3 Auto Electrician (essential)
  • Heavy industry mobile plant experience; Mining, Agriculture, Transport + Rail or similar
  • Current Drivers License, HR truck advantageous
  • Experienced with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems
  • Experience managing PLC’s and critical control systems
